Aeropark Events for 2008
During the year the Aeropark hosts a number of events some of which are annual like the Air Ambulance Day and others are to align with or commemorate special aviation events.
Family Fun Day 29th June
Sunday 29th June will be our first Open Day of the year where there will be additional attractions at the Aeropark including:
Fair rides
Stalls
Tombola
Kids Colouring competition
Historic vehicles
Flypast from a Hawker Hurricane of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight
Open cockpits on aircraft
Refreshments
We have been advised by the BBMF that the Hurricane flypast is anticipated to be at 16:45
The open day will start at 10:30
Entrance to the Aeropark is free for children under 16 years of age and just £2 for adults, Car parking is free.
There will be a small additional charge for entrance to the aircraft which are open to go towards their continued upkeep and restoration.
Note: Open Cockpits and flypast are dependant upon serviceability and prevailing weather conditions.
